Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for vulnerable families who are navigating the loss of a job or reduction in hours due to COVID.
  • Please pray for parents or youth who are in jobs, including healthcare professionals and first responders, where their risk of exposure is increased and need to make hard decisions about the safety of their family and providing for their needs.
  • Please pray for communities of color who experience disproportionality in the percentage of children and families who are impacted by foster care, especially the Black community. May we support work that examines and revises policies and systems so as not further perpetuate these trends in this season and always.
  • Please pray for DCF as workers begin to re-enter homes and transport children to visit families of origin. Please pray for safety and wisdom as they slowly begin to return to non-emergency in-person work with families and children.
  • Please pray for new foster and adoptive families to be raised up and supported well through our churches as we anticipate an increased need to provide temporary families through foster care or permanent families through adoption.
